DEHLIA

I have worked at Conrad Mace for just over 6 years and can barely remember a time when the salon wasn’t my life! Straight after I finished high school, I decided to try hairdressing because it looked to be a fun, lively and creative industry. It's great expressing a style or design, through hair, and creating an image for someone. It's really nice to have someone feel good about themselves after coming to see you. I do both cut and colour, they are both great in their own way. Its great when you get to do both services on the same client as its like the start and finish of a story. I truly love working at Conrad Mace. I have a fantastic relationship with all of my clients. We are a great team.

JOHN

I started my career in fashion: first studying Fashion Design at Melbourne School of Fashion whilst working at Myer. I decided to redirect my energies into hairdressing because I enjoy the creative and styling elements of the profession whilst also thoroughly enjoying the social aspect as well. Throughout the 6 years I have worked at Conrad Mace, I have been able to hone my skills in cutting and styling – both of which I love equally but for different reasons. I love Conrad Mace: the clients are great and the staff are all so talented and wonderful to work with.

MELISSA

I have worked with Greg Conrad for 14 years. Before Conrad Mace, I was working with Greg Conrad at JOH BAILEY MELBOURE and before that I worked at Wiselmann Salon as a colorist for 5 years. These days I still specialise in colour. I initially began a career as a hairdresser because I thought it would be fun and rewarding: I was right. And working at Conrad Mace is fantastic – I love the staff and the clients!

LARRISSA

I’ve been working at Conrad Mace for 2 years while I’ve been studying to become a fully fledged hairdresser. I love working with hair – it allows me to be so creative and seeing the clients smile makes it all worth while. I feel so lucky working at Conrad Mace – the senior staff have taken me under their wings – I couldn’t be in better hands!

HELEN

I have only recently started at Conrad Mace but have been working within the Como Centre for many years so am extremely familiar with the salon and the wonderful clients. I look after reception but also work in the beauty rooms as the resident spray tanner. I love working here – its fast-paced, action packed and genuinely one of the most beautiful salons in Melbourne which makes for a very nice place to come to work at every day!

INES

'I started my hairdressing career roughly eight and half years ago as a full-time student at the College of Hair and Beauty Design. Conrad Mace approached the school and I was given the opportunity to be interviewed for a position there. That was nearly eight years ago now. I've always wanted to be involved in a high-end salon, working at Conrad Mace has been a dream come true. It has given me the opportunity to work with celebrity clients and on some of the top fashion events in Melbourne.' (Ines is currently away on maternity leave. We wish her and her new family all the happiness and joy in the world! Come back soon Ines!)

JASON

I started with Greg 18 years ago as an apprentice. Throughout this time, I have been involved in such an amazing array of fashion shows, shoots, hair shows and events. However, its always been my focus to continually improve my skills as a specialist cutter. I feel like Conrad Mace has given the support and guidance I have needed to become top of my game!

CHANTELLE

I joined Conrad Mace over 6 years ago as a junior and have worked my way up to becoming one of Conrad Mace's senior colourists. I work very closely with O&M (one of our suppliers) and now run regular training sessions for the rest of the team on all aspects of the range including intense colour programs all the way through to practical demonstrations. My strengths lie in creating the perfect blonde and teaching my clients how to maintain their look. Whilst colouring is an important part of my day, my passion also extends to creating the perfect up-do for brides or regular clients seeking a fabulous look for private parties or events they may be attending. I'm a regular part of the team from Conrad Mace who work on the Chanel fashion parades - something that I adore!

DEB

I started my hairdressing career at Queens - I was actually there at the same time as Nicholas! From there, I joined Conrad Mace only to decide that I really needed to see the world before settling down in Melbourne. I travelled - and worked - throughout the UK, Europe and America before returning to Conrad Mace 4 years ago. I'm currently one of the Senior Colourists / Stylists at Conrad Mace - both specialties that I love equally.

LAUREN

'I started 7 years ago, I was 16. I really wanted to do something with my hands, so I decided to try hairdressing and I fell in love with it immediately. After my apprenticeship I began working with Conrad Mace from the day they launched.' (Lauren is currently working as a senior staff member at one of London's top salons. We look forward to her returning to Conrad Mace... hopefully sooner rather than later!)
